About me

The projects I am currently working are set in science-fantasy worlds featuring my characters, lore and settings, which I have designed and developed with great detail.

My main goal is to aid in bringing 2D animation back to the big screen cinemas.

Biography

Joshua was born in Germany in 1995, and now lives in Margaret River, Australia.

He faced some great challenges in his childhood. He became highly sensitive to noise, touch and taste, and started to create stories in his head and become absorbed with them. He was ambidextrous and had difficulties displaying his stories.

When Joshua developed a dominant hand he was able to draw to his satisfaction and share his stories with others. His art quickly developed to be highly detailed and stylised.

Joshua has attended TAFE art courses in Margaret River to enrich his art techniques, and continued visual art and animation studies at TAFE in Perth.

At age 19 Joshua is formally diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome. In 2019 Joshua begins to work together with DADAA, an organisation helping to give access to art and cultural opportunities for people with a disability, and with their support builds the foundations for his projects.

In 2021 Joshua has his first solo exhibition at the Margaret River HEART.

This is followed by Joshua's collaborative "Strange Adventures" Exhibition, presented by Perth Comic Arts Festival 2022 in partnership with DADAA.

On June 24 and 25th 2023 Joshua paricipated at the Supanova Comc Con - Artist Alley in Perth.

In September 2023 Joshua have his next exhibition at Northcliffe Western Australia, Creative Connection. The exhibition will involve visual artists with a disability, and various poets from Perth & Southwestern Australia that will write poetry responses to each of the artworks. The exhibition will display the artworks alongside the poems.
